Chapter 01
Native catalog browsing — inside WhatsApp.
WhatsApp Native Catalog lets your customers browse products, view variants, and add to cart inside the chat. Waaru syncs your Shopify catalog automatically — every product, variant, image, price, and stock status is reflected in WhatsApp.
A customer types 'shoes' or 'lipstick' or 'protein'. The AI shows the matching catalog section as native cards. They tap, view, add to cart, all without leaving WhatsApp.
Chapter 02
Ask before you buy — the AI answers.
The reason customers drop off in checkout is usually a question they can't get answered fast enough. 'Will this fit my car?' 'Is this gluten-free?' 'Does this come in extra-small?'. On most BSPs, that question kills the sale.
On Waaru, the AI answers from your indexed product data — specs, ingredients, fitment, sizing, return policy. The customer gets the answer in seconds. The cart continues. The purchase completes.
Chapter 03
Pay inside WhatsApp — Razorpay UPI, cards, wallets.
When the customer is ready to pay, the AI sends a Razorpay payment link configured for UPI, cards, wallets, or net banking. They tap, pay, get a receipt — all inside the chat. The Shopify order is created automatically with the payment marked as captured.
No website checkout. No redirect drop-off. No 'add billing address' form the customer abandons.
Chapter 04
COD verification and prepaid conversion.
For COD orders, the AI sends a verification message within minutes of order placement asking the customer to confirm. If they don't confirm in 24 hours, the order is auto-cancelled — which cuts your RTO rate measurably.
Waaru also runs COD-to-prepaid conversion: after order placement, offer the customer a small incentive to switch to prepaid (Razorpay link). Typical conversion: 10–20% of COD orders move to prepaid, halving the RTO rate on those.
Chapter 05
Post-purchase — updates, upsell, review.
Once the order is placed: confirmation message, shipping pickup, out-for-delivery, delivery confirmation. Then 3–5 days later: a personalised review request with the product name and a direct Google Reviews link. Then 30 days later: a complementary product recommendation based on what they bought.
All automatic. All on WhatsApp. All inside the same conversation thread the customer started with.
