Choose your starting point
For business owners and team members: Set up Waaru, then reply to your first message. You can use the Inbox, contacts, broadcasts, and visual workflows without writing API code.
For developers: Use the Waaru SDK for Node.js for text and template sends, or follow the Developer API setup, make a first authentication request, then receive webhooks. You will need server-side code for this path.
New to the terms? Read the short dashboard glossary.
Waaru gives your team one workspace for WhatsApp conversations, campaigns, and workflows through Meta’s official Cloud API. These guides use the same button and menu names as the dashboard. Each task explains what to do and how to check the result.
Public signup is open. The platform is free. AI features are pay as you go. Meta messaging charges remain separate.

Recommended setup order
For a new workspace, follow this sequence:
- Create the workspace and review the account and workspace policies.
- Connect the exact WhatsApp number you plan to use.
- Test your first conversation with a permitted test account.
- Invite teammates and grant access to the numbers they need.
- Choose the next path: Logic Flows, templates and broadcasts, or the Developer API.
A first customer-service reply does not require an imported audience or a broadcast. Prepare consent and segments before sending a campaign.
A page that needs WhatsApp may return you to Numbers if the workspace has no connected number it can use. Connect or restore the number before retrying the task.
Understand WhatsApp before you set up
New to the platform? Start with the WhatsApp Business API guide. Learn how to plan a broadcast or map a customer journey, then follow the dashboard steps here. The blog answers specific questions about setup, pricing, consent, and templates.

Administration, support and optional capabilities
Keep company and account details, policy decisions, consent and safety settings, and operational reports up to date. Use Waaru Care for account-specific help. Review optional AI and MCP availability before depending on a setup that is not part of the current self-service dashboard.
