Recovery
Do not hide an uncertain spreadsheet write.
Waaru tracks each write with an idempotency key, but Google Sheets cannot use that key to prevent a duplicate request. If the result is unclear, Waaru records it as uncertain for you to check instead of retrying automatically.
Current boundary
The connector works with values, not spreadsheet administration.
Creating, deleting, renaming, formatting, clearing, or sharing spreadsheets is outside the release. Arbitrary batchUpdate payloads, broad Drive scopes, destructive row or column operations, and change polling are also excluded.

No. The user selects files through Google Picker and Waaru uses the drive.file scope rather than broad account-wide Drive access.
Can it create, format, or share a spreadsheet?
