Only Meta can remove a WhatsApp account restriction.
Waaru can help preserve operational evidence and prevent unsafe sends, but no provider can promise reinstatement.
Operational recovery guide
If your WhatsApp number is restricted, stop sending before you appeal.
Preserve the warning, message samples, template quality, consent records, and recent sending history. Then identify the policy or quality signal, correct the cause, and use the official review route shown in WhatsApp Manager or Business Support Home.
In one line
Do not rotate numbers or resume campaigns blindly. Pause outbound traffic, preserve evidence, fix the likely consent, content, or quality issue, and submit one factual appeal through Meta's official interface.
No credit card. No commitment.
Diagnose the operation, not only the number.
A replacement number inherits the same risk when the consent source, message frequency, templates, or opt-out handling remain unchanged.
Before the next send
A ban is an operational signal. Diagnose the source before changing the number or resuming volume.
01
Consent trail
Can you prove who opted in, where and when?
02
Template quality
Are sends paused when quality turns yellow or red?
03
Frequency
Did the recipient expect this message at this cadence?
04
Opt-out
Does STOP suppress future marketing immediately?
The problem
The fastest-looking response often makes the case weaker.
Deleting evidence, sending test campaigns, opening repeated tickets, or buying a new number can obscure the original cause. Treat the restriction as an incident with a timeline and an owner.
Continued sending can create more negative feedback while quality is already weak.
An imported list is not proof that recipients agreed to WhatsApp marketing.
Approved templates can still produce poor quality when audience or cadence is wrong.
A technical delivery success does not prove policy compliance.
First 30 minutes: contain and preserve.
Pause scheduled broadcasts, automations, and template tests
Capture the exact restriction text and account identifiers
Export recent send volume, template quality, and delivery errors
Preserve opt-in source, timestamp, purpose, and opt-out records
Name one incident owner and keep a dated change log
Separate policy, quality, and technical signals.
Policy issues relate to prohibited content or business conduct. Quality issues usually show that recipients did not expect or value the messages. Technical errors can block sends to a contact or sender without being a full account ban. The response depends on which layer produced the signal.
Review consent as evidence, not a checkbox.
For each affected audience, answer who opted in, what they were told, where the consent was captured, when it happened, and which message purpose it covered. A phone number collected for delivery updates does not automatically establish consent for promotions.
Write a factual appeal.
State what happened, what you believe caused it, what was paused, what evidence you reviewed, and the concrete control you changed. Avoid guarantees, emotional pressure, duplicate tickets, and claims you cannot support. Submit through the review path shown inside Meta's own account tools.
Prevent the same failure after review.
Use purpose-specific opt-in, immediate opt-out suppression, conservative frequency caps, gradual volume increases, quality-aware admission, and a human owner for exceptions. Waaru's MVP keeps explicit opt-out workspace-wide and fails closed on unsafe quality or provider states.
FAQ
Questions worth answering.
Restrictions can follow policy violations, unexpected or unwanted messages, poor quality signals, misleading business identity, prohibited content, or abusive sending patterns. The notice and account tools are the best starting point for the specific case.
