Create your Waaru workspace

Sign in with Google or an email link, complete your profile and business details, review the required policies, and create your Waaru workspace.

Reviewed

A workspace is the shared place where your team manages customers and WhatsApp conversations. Create it first, then connect the WhatsApp number your team will use. You can complete account setup before connecting Meta. Public signup is open. The platform is free. AI features are pay as you go, and Meta messaging charges remain separate.

Prepare your details

You need an email account you can open, your name, your mobile number with its country code, your company name, and your industry. Your profile mobile is a contact detail. It does not connect that number to WhatsApp or require a one-time mobile verification code during onboarding.

For the later WhatsApp connection, arrange access to the correct Meta Business Portfolio and WhatsApp Business Account. Ask the person who owns those accounts to join the setup if necessary.

  1. Open Create a Waaru workspace.
  2. Choose Continue with Google, or enter your Work email and select Create free workspace after the security check is ready.
  3. For email sign-in, the next page says Check your inbox. Open the email titled Sign in to Waaru and select the sign-in link inside it. No password is required for this path.
  4. Continue to workspace setup after your identity is verified.

If the email does not arrive, check spam and confirm the address. Return to sign-in to request a fresh link if the previous one has expired. If a teammate invited you to an existing workspace, use their invitation with the invited email instead of creating a separate workspace.

Your email comes from the signed-in account. Your progress saves automatically while you complete the form. Optional business information can be added later in Settings.

Review the account and workspace policies

Open and review each policy linked on Review & create:

Record each decision separately. For a workspace policy, confirm that you are authorized to accept it for the business. Create workspace becomes available when the required decisions are selected. If the policy version changes before submission, review the current version before retrying.

If creation fails, read the displayed error and correct the named field or policy decision. Return to the existing setup rather than creating another account to work around the error.

Confirm the workspace exists

After creation, the dashboard opens for your workspace. The setup panel guides you through the next permitted tasks. A page that needs WhatsApp can return you to Numbers until an eligible number is connected. This connection requirement is separate from free platform access.

Recover a draft or uncertain creation

If the saved draft cannot load, choose Retry loading draft. If an edit cannot save, keep the page open and use Retry saving draft. Wait until the retry succeeds before closing the page so you do not lose unsaved changes.

If workspace creation returns an uncertain result, use Check workspace status before creating again. The original request may have succeeded even when its response was interrupted. Follow the recovered workspace or the page's next permitted action rather than creating a duplicate account.

Next: Connect a WhatsApp number, then test your first conversation. For a server integration, follow the Developer API quickstart.
