Update account and workspace details
Edit your personal profile, maintain company details and timezone as a workspace Admin, and distinguish personal information from shared settings.
Reviewed
Your account identifies you. Workspace settings describe the business shared with your teammates. Edit the correct scope so a personal profile change is not confused with a company-wide setting.
Edit your personal profile
- Open Settings > Account and find Personal profile.
- Update your name, mobile number or job title as needed.
- Save the change and confirm the displayed result.
Email is read-only in this form. Your profile mobile is a contact detail, not the WhatsApp sender connection. To connect a messaging number, use Numbers.
Use Sign out from the user menu when you finish on a shared device. For Google or email-link sign-in, follow workspace setup and sign-in recovery. These guides do not describe password or two-factor controls that are absent from the current account form.
Maintain shared company details
A workspace Admin can open Settings > Workspace > Company details. Review the company name, timezone, website, industry and team size, then select Save.
Use the intended IANA timezone, such as Asia/Kolkata, rather than an ambiguous abbreviation. Timezone affects business hours and scheduled activity. Review those configurations when changing it.
A failed save is not a confirmed update. Read the field or permission error and retry the existing edit after correcting it. Do not create another workspace to work around a profile error.
Review other administration separately
Use Team for roles and number grants, Policies for current acceptance decisions, and Billing for provisional plan interest. Those settings do not change just because you updated the company name.
Create, rotate, and revoke API keys
Create a Waaru API key bound to one WhatsApp number, choose supported messaging and media scopes, copy the secret once, and rotate or revoke it safely.
Review account and workspace policies
Find current policy decisions, separate personal acceptance from workspace Admin acceptance, and recover access when a new policy version needs review.
