WhatsApp templates and broadcasts
Create WhatsApp message templates, check Meta approval, select contacts with permission to receive messages, and send and monitor broadcasts in Waaru.
Reviewed
A template is a message format you submit to Meta for approval. A broadcast sends an approved template from one WhatsApp number to a selected group of contacts. Before a campaign can send, Waaru checks permission to message those contacts, number and template quality, sending limits, and the campaign status.

What Waaru verifies
The sending number must be connected and belong to the selected business account. The template must be approved and available to that number. Contacts must belong to the campaign’s selected segments. You must confirm their permission to receive messages. Contacts who opted out, or who are blocked by sending restrictions or quality controls, cannot receive the campaign.
Passing these checks does not guarantee delivery. Meta can accept a message for processing and later return a delivery or failure event. Use the broadcast outcome and message timeline rather than treating submission as delivery.
