Review contact messaging restrictions
Inspect WhatsApp eligibility, distinguish workspace opt-outs from account and number restrictions, and use authorized recovery controls in Waaru.

Open Contacts, select the contact, and review WhatsApp eligibility before retrying a blocked message. Restrictions can apply at different scopes and need different recovery actions.
Read the exact restriction

New inbound activity on the same number can resolve the applicable same-number restriction. It does not automatically erase every other consent or marketing restriction on the contact.
Restore consent deliberately
Use Opt out or Opt back in on the contact when you are permitted to make that change and the actual consent record supports it. Restoring workspace consent does not independently clear a provider restriction. Imported contact data or segment membership is not proof of permission to message.
Review an exceptional restriction clear
Only an Admin can use Clear WhatsApp restriction. Read the affected scope, enter an Audit reason, and complete the additional permanent-policy confirmation when it is shown.
This is an exceptional audited action, not routine retry advice. Record why the restriction can legitimately be cleared rather than using the action to force a campaign through. All other eligibility checks still run on the next send.
For an unclear or recurring restriction, use Waaru Care with the safe error code and affected task. Keep API keys and unnecessary customer data out of the request.
